Japanese shibori
What do you find most unusual, crazy or strange about Japan? This is the theme of this month's blog matsuri hosted by gakuranman.
I am currently on holiday in the U.K. and while I am having a great time, there are certain things I miss about Japan. For my entry to the matsuri this month, I want to introduce something I found a little strange when I first moved to Japan. But now, after living there for over 6 years I now find it crazy that we don't do the same thing here.

Dinner time in Japan.

おしぼり (oshibori) - a strange cloth to wipe your hands with before eating. What once seemed unusual now feels necessary. I love Japan!
