- Japanese rice cookers – a blog run by a friend of mine that discusses how to make rice using Japanese rice cookers. After living in Japan for a few years I sometimes forget that I did not used to enjoy eating rice. However that was before I had tasted what it was like when it is made in a rice machine. These kinds of cookers make it so easy to prepare rice that has bite but is not hard and is soft but not soggy. Japanese rice cookers make it so easy to prepare great tasting rice and they are now becoming much more popular in the United States and Europe.

- solar panel sale – This is a blog that I discovered as I was searching for information regarding a lesson I had to prepare for. For anyone using the Sunshine series I’m sure you know what I’m talking about! Solar panels are ubiquitous in Japan and this site discusses their use in the West. There may not be quite as much sunshine as in Japan however solar panels are an excellent idea for people who are at all concerned about the environment. So if you are in the market for a cheap renewable energy system it may be worth a look.
